A musical Chrismas nativity play for 5 - 7 year olds (Key Stage 1) - although Year 3 will enjoy performing it too. Duration 25/30 mins.
A little shepherdess called Madelon wishes to take a flower as a gift for baby Jesus. However, the winter has been very cold and flowers are scarce on the snowy hillside outside Bethlehem.
This enchanting tale, based on a European Christmas legend, tells how a friendly angel helps Madelon to discover the most beautiful winter flower of all, the Christmas rose. With dancing flowers, unusual winter animals and birds, as well as nativity characters, this is a very different nativity show that can involve a large number of children.
The show has six charming songs plus music for dance.
All of our Christmas musicals come with script, piano scores (with guitar chords) and CD of vocal tracks to listen to and plain backing performance tracks for you to sing along to.
And kindly don't forget to add your Early Bird Performance Licence above, at £25 (bought later £30). This licence is required if you perform your play to parents or other external audience.
